So, Saturday I was shopping at Target when an employee approached me to tell me about this deal that Target Optical has going on until November 21st. You can get a FREE pair of eyeglasses for children under 12 with a valid prescription! Seriously! The lady assured me there weren't any hidden fees, but that it truly is FREE! You do need to make an appointment if you plan to take advantage of this offer though, and I think you might also need one of the flyers the nice employee lady handed me. I'll bet they have plenty of them if you ask (or you can have mine)! Oh, and this deal is only for stores in the Indianapolis, IN and Phoenix, AZ area stores (includes those in my area)!

I also have to apologize to my friend Michelle. She told me about this deal a few weeks ago, but because I didn't have all the details (and was too lazy to call and find out) I ended up not posting it until now. So my thanks is to Michelle as well as the nice Target Employee!

This is great for Grocery items, but with the Holidays fast approaching and many of us doing Christmas on a Budget this year you should be able to save a TON of Moolah! In case you hadn't heard yet, Target will Price Match with other stores now! The only downside is you have to pay for all the items you're pricematching at the Customer Service Counter. If you get a copy of the current Walgreen's Ad (you can pick one up right inside the door) they have listed Chex Mix (the larger bags) for $1.50. Then you can use the $1/1 Target Coupon Here and the coupons for .50 OFF HERE, HERE, HERE, AND HERE for a total of FREE. Remember you can Print 2 of each coupon. Also, Buyer Beware...I've had some trouble with Target since this is so new to most of their employees. The Target Coupon says "Limit one offer per transaction" so I usually do a couple of different small transactions. But some cashiers don't mind and will ring it all up together. It just depends on who you get.
